Hunt Southwest launches plans for 1M SF spec distribution center at 820/35W

Announcement follows sale of its nearby Class A industrial development

Dallas—September 27, 2018—On the heels of its recent sale of its 657,000-square-foot, Class A industrial development located at the southeast quadrant of  I-820 and I-35W  in Fort Worth, Hunt Southwest Real Estate Development has doubled down on the area by closing on three land sites totaling 77 acres at the northwest quadrant of I-820 and I-35W and announcing plans to develop a speculative 1-million-square-foot Class A distribution and fulfillment center.

Located at 1511 Northeast Loop 820, Interstate Crossing’s features will include a 40’ clear height, cross-dock configuration, 196 dock-high doors, LED lighting with motion sensors throughout, an ESFR sprinkler system, and additional land for seasonal employee parking, extra trailer parking, or other ancillary uses. Construction on the facility will commence in the next 30 days, with completion slated for late third quarter 2019.

Becky Thompson and Reid Bassinger of Lee & Associates Dallas/Fort Worth brokered the sale of the land to Hunt Southwest, and Becky, Reid, and Trey Fricke will represent Hunt Southwest as the leasing team for Interstate Crossing.
